SURFACE: strong>52 hectares.
AGE:Average 50 years.
SOIL
Mixture of sandy and clayey in all the land.
CLIMATE/VINTAGE
A very cold and wet winter favoured the hibernation of the grapevines and the storage of reserves of water. The abundance of water during the year led to a bountiful harvest while the prevailing temperatures resulted in a late harvest. Nevertheless, the conditions in September brought about a magnificent end to the ripening process. The vintage was rated ‘very good’.
VINIFICATION
Hand harvested with selection in the vineyard, de-stemming and fermentation in stainless-steel tanks.
AGEING
31 months in 225-litre American oak barrels and rested in the bottle until its release.
