Made on the Dehesa La Granja estate, located in Vadillo de Guareña, in Zamora, aged on lees and fermented in American oak barrels.

CLIMATE

The year was hot and dry, with scarce rainfall in winter and a warm spring with no rain until May. Summer started with storms in June and heatwaves. These conditions led to early bud break with less vigorous growth, although the rains helped to create a push for stronger vegetative growth. At harvest, the grapevines delivered the expected yields and quality.

AGEING

Hand harvesting and direct pressing using a vertical press. The must is fermented in 225-litre American oak barrels and is aged nine months in barrels on its lees with monthly battonages. This production method gives the wine persistence aside from nuances and stability, creating an aromatic, fruity, refreshing rosé wine with complexity and a long finish.
