ROBE: Mature dark cherry red with very intense and bright crimson rim, plenty of depth and good colour extraction.
NEZ: The nose has a good balsamic presence, highly fruity notes and jam tones. The body has subtle toasted notes and exemplary oak.
BOUCHE: The mouthfeel is silky, yet intense, with touches of depth and particularly fine and elegant aromas. Good ripe tannins, with well-balanced structure.
TEMPÉRATURE DE SERVICE: 16º C.
CONSOMMATION: Serve at a temperature of 16 °C, decanting is recommend before serving due to it not being filtered.
IDÉAL AVEC: Perfect accompaniment to red meat, such as grilled T-bone steak or veal sirloin steak in red wine. Game bird dishes, such as pigeon stew with mushrooms and truffles, or duck magret with blackberry salsa.
VIGNOBLE ET ÉLABORATION
To the south east of the province of Zamora, in the region known as “Tierra del Vino”, is where the 800 ha Dehesa la Granja estate is located. The winery is on an estate typical of the Spanish emblematic agroecosystem, where 120 hectares of Tempranillo vines are grown.
